Allworx announces the appointment of Chris Hasenauer as Chief Financial Officer

FAIRPORT, N.Y., August 2, 2006 - Allworx, the Small Business VoIP Company, today announced that it has appointed Chris Hasenauer as its new Chief Financial Officer. Hasenauer brings more than 15 years of financial and telecommunications management experience to Allworx. In his role as CFO, Hasenauer will oversee Allworx’s fundraising activities, and he will guide the company’s day-to-day financial operations.

Hasenauer comes to Allworx from PAETEC Communications, a leading provider of voice, video, and data solutions, where he served as Vice President of Finance. During his seven years with PAETEC, Hasenauer had direct responsibility over the company’s treasury and fundraising efforts, which helped PAETEC grow from $150 thousand to more than $500 million in annual revenue. Hasenauer had a prominent role in developing and closing seven acquisitions while at PAETEC. He helped raise more than $134 million of private equity, and he played a significant role in PAETEC’s recent recapitalization transaction, helping to raise $400 million in debt financing. During PAETEC’s start-up phase, Hasenauer was instrumental in setting up the company’s treasury and public reporting systems.
Prior to PAETEC, Hasenauer worked for Deloitte & Touche, from 1992 – 1999, serving as an audit manager for Deloitte’s clients in the manufacturing, not-for-profit and high-tech industries. He also served as an instructor for Deloitte’s US and European practices, serving its European practice as an instructor at its initial entry training program in Crete.
A certified public accountant and a member of the AICPA, Hasenauer received his B.A from the State University of New York at Geneseo and his M.B.A from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
